Meta Legends Moves Forward With NFT Sale

With the funds raised, Meta Legends intends to develop a number of initiatives for the platform.

NFTs are being used in everything these days. Arts are tokenizing their work and selling it to their fans and they can be seemingly used in everything.

One of these is gaming as NFTs are often used there to represent in-game items, characters, rewards, and so on.

This application of NFTs in gaming does not show any sign of slowing down as Meta Legends, an NFT-based play-to-earn game, has announced an upcoming NFT sale to raise funds for its platform expansion.

  Meta Legends Looks to Expand

The NFT sale in question will take place on November 24, 2021, and during this sale, 12,3454 NFTs called Legends will be sold. The NFTs, which will be stored as ERC-21 tokens, are based on the Ethereum blockchain and are categorized based on different levels of rarity.

With the funds raised, Meta Legends intends to develop a number of initiatives for the platform. First, an application will be created to allow Meta Legends users to connect called Meta Connect.

On Meta Connect, users will be able to find themselves, store their NFTs, and ascertain their NFTs value.

Meta Legends will also put effort into developing their own metaverse. In this metaverse, users will be able to stack their cryptocurrencies, own virtual property, and explore the virtual landscape.

This virtual landscape, and the metaverse in general, stand out from existing metaverse projects thanks to its vividness and graphics, having been designed by Maxime Hacquard, a popular French artist.

Even more interesting, there is the option of earning a virtual income in a number of ways. These include renting virtual land, homes, vehicles, and weapons, to others and there is also the option of yield guild gaming with characters.

In the future, Meta Legends intends for all tokens used in its ecosystem to have actual monetary value and for its platform to create entertainment licenses.

As for non-monetary interactions within the Meta Legends universe, users will be able to enjoy FPS games, competitions, and space races.

They will also be able to virtually attend concerts, festivals, and so on, allowing them to truly interact with the metaverse in the same way that they do in the real world.

According to Maxime Hacquard, the use of the Unreal5, Meta Legends game engine, has allowed for the development of a truly amazing metaverse.

“Photorealistic rendering, dynamic physics and effects, lifelike animation and built-in tools for advanced character rigging animation and performance capture streaming. It can create believable human and animal characters, massive scale reactive environments and film quality levels of VFX. Worldbuilding – including real-time landscape and terrain tools, sky cloud and environment lighting, real-time ray tracing and rasterization, are also included,” he says.

Why NFTs and Play-to-Earn Are Needed

Games like Meta Legends are taking full advantage of the advent of NFTs. With NFTs, the authenticity of in-game assets can be ensured and users can fully explore what the metaverse holds.

With play-to-earn, gamers can make a virtual income from the games they participate in, creating a more enjoyable and rewarding experience for all involved.
